Aftercare older baby

Below are a few videos to assist you to have playful interaction with your older baby in order to do the after treatment wound care and tongue exercises. An older  baby has had to compensate even longer to be able to latch on to the breast and feed, therefore it is advisable to also involve a therapist or bodywork to help your baby relax and learn to adapt to a different way of feeding involving the tongue more instead of jaw and or cheeks and other muscles all the way down to the shoulders. We also advise to keep your speech pathologist and/or IBCLC Lactation Consultant involved to assist improvement of  breastfeeding, feeding with a bottle or eating solids.
