What can be done if my child is anxious/afraid about the treatment?

It’s completely understandable that a medical procedure can feel stressful, especially for children. We believe it is important to handle this with care and to adapt to what your child needs.
Here are the steps we can take:
• Parents are always present during the treatment. Your presence provides comfort and trust.
• We explain everything calmly and in a child-friendly way so that your child knows what to expect.
• We take our time, work calmly and predictably, and adjust our pace to suit your child.
• If additional support is needed, calming medication can be considered, in consultation with you. This will only be used if absolutely necessary. You will receive a prescription, pick up the medication at the pharmacy, and bring it to the next follow-up appointment.
Together, during the consultation, we will decide what works best for your child.
